It’s why I believe that while the rigor of strategy is important, the creativity you bring to the process is critical. I’m keenly aware at all times that one of my client’s competitors has hired someone just like me to dig through all the same reports, studies, data, and trends as I am. That is where my background in journalism and copywriting helps me dig to a deeper truth - sometimes profound, sometimes precise - that helps move the work a few degrees further.
