I’ve studied journalism and copywriting, which heavily influences my approach to strategy. It inspires me to find the heart hidden within numbers, the emotion within logic, and the compelling within the common.

It’s why I believe that while the rigor of strategy is important, the creativity you bring to the process is critical. I’m keenly aware at all times that one of my client’s competitors has hired someone just like me to dig through all the same reports, studies, data, and trends as I am. That is where my background in journalism and copywriting helps me dig to a deeper truth - sometimes profound, sometimes precise - that helps move the work a few degrees further.

And those few degrees can make all the difference.

Bio

I’m currently a Strategy Director at McCann NY.

In my combined 8 1/2 years at McCann, I’ve been awarded the 2019 Grand Prix for Good at Cannes, helped win the USPS business, led strategy for Verizon Fios, and launched a range of campaigns for brands such as Army, Nikon, and UNICEF.

Additionally, I’ve worked at the branding firm Red Peak Group and the digital agency StrawberryFrog.
